What this app is DM Assist is a private internal tool used to manage Instagram direct messages for our own business account. It is not a public-facing product.
What data we access Through Meta's Instagram API, we access:
Direct message conversations sent to and from our Instagram account
Participant usernames and profile information
Message content and timestamps
How we use it This data is used solely to help our team manage and respond to incoming Instagram DMs. Message history is stored in a private database to provide conversation context for our internal team.
Who sees your data Your messages are visible only to our internal team. We do not sell, share, or distribute message data to any third parties.
Third-party services We use Supabase for secure data storage and Meta's Instagram API to access message data. Both services handle data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
Data retention Message data is retained for business operations and may be deleted upon request.
