Service Is the Truth

Everyone wants to be a [insert whatever].
Very few want to work to be a [insert whatever].

People think you just become something.
But the label is artificial—
a front for simply being of service.

And if you’re not constantly finding ways to be of service,
and that service doesn’t have value to the world,
you’re done.

Ikigai, baby. 🇯🇵

The work of becoming is hard.
The work of being is easy.
Anyone can be anything.
You can call yourself a producer.
I can call you a producer.
But it means absolutely nothing.

The work of becoming
earning a title in the world because of how you’ve served—
that’s all that matters.
The title doesn’t matter,
but the service does.

Labels mean nothing.
Becoming is hard, serve well—
service is the truth.
